STEP and C-STEP Anatomy
The Department of Anatomical Sciences hosts a Stony Brook University School of Medicine sponsored STEP (Science and Technology Entry Program) and C-STEP (College Science and Technology Entry Program) summer course in anatomy. These programs offers under-represented minorities exposure to the outstanding scientific training at Stony Brook University. The Department of Anatomical Sciences opens its teaching classrooms and laboratories to students enrolled in this program. The goal of these programs is to encourage these students to enter scientific, technical, health, and health related professions, including many areas where licensure is required.
